The challenge: design a website for Sea Wave Wines to create a digital presence and store locator for the launch of the new product, which will be sold nationally across the US. The must-haves: implement an auto-populating instagram feed at the bottom of all the pages, as well as a store locator page that has search feature accessible from other pages. Lastly, this website needed to be cutting edge—so I designed it to have parallax scrolling as part of the hero image, plus a unique and responsive wave design just below the hero module; and (this is my favorite part) custom floating animations throughout the website.
I stepped in as lead project manager during their marketing manager’s maternity leave which meant I set the timeline, design the website, and planned all the asset creation for the website as well as to get started on social media. I planned a combo photo/video shoot in Newport Beach in April 2021, as well as a video commercial which was filmed in Los Angeles.
I am honored to be managing Sea Wave Wine’s social media presence in addition to having built the website. I am collaborating with the client to put together influencer campaigns, paid advertisements, and post organic content in both the feed and in stories. I’m providing the client with monthly reports on previous month’s progress, a live dashboard they can always reference, as well as competitor analysis— which definitely keeps me on my toes. At the moment, Sea Wave Wines is on Instagram and Facebook, with the opportunity to grow into a You Tube presence as well. Having also worked on putting together the brand guidelines for the client, I’m excited to be partnered with Sea Wave Wines and see the entire vision come to life in real time.
